The Waverley Wildcats Little League Team are currently in Taipei competing in the Asia Pacific Little League Championships - vying for the chance to play in the 2009 Little League World Series - which is scheduled to be held in Williamsport later in the year.
The Wildcats, from Victoria, earned their tickets to Taipei after winning the 2009 Australian Little League Championships held on the Gold Coast over the Queen's Birthday long weekend in June.
The team arrived in Taipei on 2 July, 2009 to scoarching heat and will return home to Melbourne on 11 July, 2009.
Throughout the tournament the team will send back reports of their time overseas, their trials and tribulations - and we will be sure to keep you posted on all the results.
