Taipei Australia vs. USA Australia vs. Venezuela		Back: National Teams > National AAA > News Articles AAA World Cup - Game one Cassandra Sedgman, Monday, 26 July 2010 Australia VS Venezuela Australia's first game in the 2010 AAA World Cup in Thunder Bay, Canada was against Venezuela. Due to unknown circumstances several days from the start of the tournament Venezuela notified IBAF that they would not be competing in this years World Cup, but then in a turn of events they arrived late on the opening day but having missed their opening game Australia won the game on a forfiet. This was a turn of luck for Australia after having problems with their travel to Canada with flights being postponed and only arriving in Thunder Bay the day before the tournament started and missed their 2 pracitise games in the lead up. Australia will now look forward to their first game of the tournament against the USA.
