The 2010 All-World Junior Baseball team is headed by tournament MVP Wei Tzu Lin, third baseman of Chinese Taipei.

The IBAF World Juniors Baseball Championship Technical Commission, headed by George Santiago (USA), sanctioned the awards to recognize the tournament’s outstanding players.  Discussions took place to identify the tournament’s best players by position, not an easy task with many high quality players at each position this year.

Only the round-robin games were factored into the decision in the nomination process and subsequent realization of tournament awards. However, some awards were distributed to players based solely on statistical data, thus requiring only an in-depth analysis of the daily statistical reports distributed by IBAF Scoring Commissioner Anna-Maria Paini (ITA).

Australian Ryan Battaglia was definately one of the tournament standouts after being named in the World All-Star Team and taking out the Home Run Award, congratulations Ryan.
